How long ?

How long can we wait for a guy, after making a first move ? If you have to see him everyday, could you go on forever, pretending that nothing ever happened ? Could you separate your heart from your mind, or your mind from your heart ?


See, usually what we do is that, we make the first move, after months of flirting. Maybe it wasn't flirting .. maybe it was just being friendly, and you got too caught up to it. But you can never be sure. That is why we wait, and wait, and wait. Because while we were growing up, we used to dream about everything, the perfect wedding, the perfect wedding dress, the perfect man. What if, for you he comes along, but thenagain for him you're just another game, to play.
If you have waited forever, you think 10 more minutes won't hurt. Maybe it will. Maybe you should think about the times you have had together, as friends, or would that just make you more confused ? Then you think everything was fine, maybe even perfect, before the first attempt, or were you just a little late on your attempt ?
You know guys, they can always blame it on you, and you can never blame it on them. If we could separate our hearts from our minds, that would give us power. Would we want that power ?
Maybe .. the only thing to do is to give up in your mind, but keep on hoping in your heart.
